I currently work as a Graphic Design Intern for the Community Alliance of Tenants, a nonprofit in Portland, Oregon that works with tenant-landlord issues to help prevent homelessness. I have developed a series of posters supporting a law that was being debated in the Oregon legislature about funding for homeless services. In addition, I developed artwork for a social media campaign to support Giving Thursday for this organization. I created a range of different ideas for their social media team to choose from, then refined their one choice. I’m learning to work with their social media agency, and I’m learning about who their organization helps and who they are trying to recruit as donors and volunteers.
