I took a class in pattern making from a local Portland designer who also teaches at Portland State. I enjoyed the process of taking my own artwork, including photographs, hand lettering, sketches, and other pieces, and making them into patterns. I experimented with clothing, wallpaper, and other items, just to see what looked good.
